Payment Method
OpenPhone recommends the online payment method. With online payments, customers can stop using their personal card linked to their Apple or Google Play account and start using their business credit card. Also, when paying online, it's easier to manage OpenPhone subscriptions straight from the admin dashboard (new subscription, renewal, cancellation). Plus, customers have the option to have their invoices sent directly to them.
If a customer is currently subscribed through Google Play or Apple, they'll need to unsubscribe first so they're not double charged. To make the switch to a business credit card, customers need to use the web or desktop app in order to switch to a credit card. They can go to the Plan and Billing settings page, hit "Update Credit Card", and the new card will charge automatically every month.
Remember, this process is simple and straightforward. Enjoy using OpenPhone!

OpenPhone Return Policy?
OpenPhone has a cancellation and refund policy that is clear and transparent. If a customer wishes to cancel their OpenPhone subscription, they can do so by following certain steps. However, they will not be refunded for any time remaining on their subscription and their account will remain active until the end of their current billing period.
After cancellation, OpenPhone will hold the customer's phone number(s) for no more than fourteen (14) days, after which they may release the number(s). If a customer wants to port their phone number(s) away from OpenPhone to another service, they need to inform OpenPhone, who will then hold onto the number(s) for them throughout the porting process.
In the case of a missed or failed payment, OpenPhone will attempt to charge the credit card on file five (5) times. If they are unable to charge the credit card on file, they will cancel the customer's subscription. If a customer wants to keep their account active but is unable to make a payment, they need to inform OpenPhone immediately.
Given the cost to maintain a customer's account and phone number(s), OpenPhone is generally unable to offer any refunds. However, they may make exceptions in some cases. Note that they will never make exceptions in cases in which a customer has violated their Terms of Service.
